From lovely Seattle in January to Valentine's Day on the bus...

Enjoying Sea-Tac's unique style :)

Happy almost spring!

This post is going to be a kind of random love child between Seattle public transportation and my first lovely Valentine's bus experience...relish in the diversity! haha

In January I flew up to see my friend Lauren in Seattle and when booking my flight I had the option of getting in at 3 pm or 8 pm...I chose 3 and decided somehow I'd figure my way to downtown until she got off work! A couple days before my trip I started digging around online to try and find the best option. I kept seeing "Soundtransit" and thought that looked good! I looked at the route from the airports and the stops were kind of familiar...so I thought I'd just take a risk and see where I ended up!

As soon as I got off my flight and got my bag, I immediately saw signs for the Transit and headed towards it! Kudos to you, Sea-Tac, good signage! Then I made it to the litte kiosk where you buy your ticket.

Once I bought my ticket from the airport to downtown, for only $2.75!!!, I continued to follow the signs and boarded my train. I think they were leaving just about every 15 minutes, so it was very convenient. The train was very clean and felt safe. It was nice to hop on and then just wait til I heard my stop!

View from the train, there's Seattle!!

After about a half an hour ride I arrived and walked outside. I will admit that I had to use my phone to help me find out exactly where I was...and to my joy I was only a block away from Pike Place Market! I meandered around the market, went in an antique store, ate the most amazing pear of my whole life (Taylor Gold, incase you were wondering), saw a gorgeous sunset, and then ate a macaroon for the first time! Yum....macaroon.....mmmmmmmm

I thought this sign was cute...outside the antique store

Isn't this incredible?! What a brilliant artist God is.

I had a great trip, and I definitely recommend the Soundtransit light raail if you're heading up to Seattle anytime soon! Here's a link if you want to check it out:

Onto more lovey dovey things :)

Here's a little video I recorded after my exciting Feb 14th...

I hope you had a great Valentine's day or if not, atleast got a little laugh out of mine!!

Love,
